All praise to Allah, we seek his aid and his assistance, and
ask his forgiveness and we seek refuge in Allah from the evil of our souls and
from the evil of our actions. Whomever Allah guides, none can mislead him.
Whomever he leads astray, none can guide him.
I testify that there is no deity worthy of worship except
Allah, alone without partner and that Muhammad (Salla-Allahu-Alayhi-Wa-Sallam)
is his slave and Messenger.
"O you who have believed, fear Allah as He should be
feared and do not die except as Muslims [in submission to Him]." {Surart
Ali-Imran; Verse 102}
"O mankind, fear your Lord, who created you from one
soul and created from it its mate and dispersed from both of them many men and
women. And fear Allah , through whom you ask one another, and the wombs. Indeed
Allah is ever, over you, an Observer." {Surat An-Nisa; Verse 1}
"O you who have believed, fear Allah and speak words of
appropriate justice.He will [then] amend for you your deeds and forgive you
your sins. And whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger has certainly attained a
great attainment." {Surat Al-Ahzab; Verse 70-71}
Indeed the best speech is the speech of Allah, and the best
guidance is the guidance of Muhammad (Salla-Allahu-Alayhi-Wa-Sallam). And the
worst of matters are those innovated by the people, and every innovated matter
(bid’ah) is misguidance, and every misguidance
leads to the fire.
"So which of the favors of your Lord would you
deny?" {Surat Ar-Rahman; Verse 13}.
The people of Somalia also have countless favors on them
from Allaah, but at this moment they are being tested as Allaah has said He
will test those who believe in Him “And We will surely test you with something
of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good
tidings to the patient,”{Surat Al-Baqarah; Verse 155}. And along with them so
are we.
Their test is to remain patient through this hard time and put their
trust in Allaah and our test is how we thank Allaah for our well being and lend
a helping hand to our brothers and sisters.
I am sure many of us spend more than one GBP (equivalent to
123 BDT appx.) on stuffs that never benefit us. We can be in the same situation
one day.
Let us come forward and lend a helping hand.
Sincerely,
Your Brother in Islam
