Unified Moon Sight has been distributing blankets, shawls and sweaters to the most needy people from the past two years. Below are a summary and illustration of their past campaigns.
Panchaghar
Alhamdulillah – Allah helped us with a
successfull distribution of winter clothes among the peoples of Vajonpur Union,
Tetulia, Panchagarh.
We experienced sheer bite of cold there. When we were returning, we got the news of 11 deaths. Also, cattle are suffocating to death. We were there with 500 blankets and around 300 sweaters for children. But the demand is much more. When we returned, they again and again pledged for more relief. Situation is really unbearable there. The govt. helped them with 20 blankets this year!!!!!!
The noticeable part was – the lecture on tawheed (oneness of Allaah) by Sheikh Murad Bin Amzad. Though the people were waiting for long for their blankets – still they showed passion and patience and responded really well to the lecture. May Allah guide them to the true path of Islam. Ameen

With 400 blankets, 200 Shawls and 250 Children warm cloths we reached Rangpur Mahigonj on 25th Dec, 2010.
We had a team of 7 members. May Allah be pleased with them. These brothers worked hard only to please Allah. Also, we had Sheikh Murad Bin Amzad with us to deliver the speech of Tawheed.

All Praise to Allaah(swt).
Allah (swt) has commanded us to help the needy. He denounces those who fail to do this duty, as He says (interpretation of the meaning):
“Nay! But you treat not the orphans with kindness and generosity (i.e. you neither treat them well, nor give them their exact right of inheritance)! And urge not one another on the feeding of Al-Miskeen (the poor)! And you devour the inheritance — all with greed. And you love wealth with much love” [Al-Fajr 89:17-20]
Our wealth belongs to Allah (swt), if He willed; He can take it away from the person any time He wants to, as He says (interpretation of the meaning):
“And when it is said to them: ‘Spend of that with which Allaah has provided you,’ those who disbelieve say to those who believe: ‘Shall we feed those whom, if Allaah willed, He (Himself) would have fed? You are only in a plain error.’” [Yaa-Seen 36:47]
Recently some of our brothers felt the deep urge of helping the people suffering from the shivering cold, and decided to raise fund for winter clothes. After two weeks of collection from our friends and family we managed to gather 115 pcs of blanket, 80 pcs of shawl and almost 1000 pcs of clothes. The clothes were then distributed in Mohish Bandi, a remote village of Gaibanda, on the Friday 15 MuHarram 1431 A.H. (1st January 2010). While distributing the winter wears, brothers felt the necessity of gathering more relief materials for this chilly winter. And it is just a demand felt for one village, and there are thousands of villages all over Bangladesh where the same sort of help is required.
So we would like to appeal to the visitors of this site to help raise awareness among the people of this society who can really come forward to join hands with us to do something for those who get almost frozen everyday due to the severe cold.
Insha-Allah Allah(swt) accept all our good deeds and provide us the best of the returns. (Ameen)
